my wife and I do not have kids;; we are doting
aunt and uncle types. . this is a challenge.
Jason blames the teacher(s). . how do you
view this situation? -- j

grades are bogus. from my pov--i think the parent should have talked to his kid and seen if he could prove he learned something some other way. no way would i ever make a judgement based on a number that can be, and often is, arbitrary.

  Yes. . I went to school for 23 years, and found that
  there were 2 tasks::: get the knowledge, and get
  the grade. . I astonished several afterwards that
  I was able to do both, after I spent about 10 of those
  years learning how. -- j
