Apparently there are hundreds of kidnapped men working as slaves in Indonesia - fishing. The AP blew the secret and they are returning home now.

Slavery. Still. Don't you think that our species would have a clue yet?

        This would not make a good impression on aliens surveying our planet. The absence of our ability to engender a world where everyone is fed is one thing...our failure to exclude slavery is quite another.

      Sure. I thought from the lead in that it was just for folks who had found out about Rand via the movies. (It was interesting reading, however; I did note that the replies did not precisely match what I thought your parameters were, but I decided not to spam.)
