I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...I am from Wisconsin. I loved that that was where shruggs back story unfolded. I am 27 years old and I came upon Atlas Shrugged some time after it came out on netflix and have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the last 2 to come out. Of-course after the first I was hooked and to look deeper. I was lead to Rands works and what followed was many college papers citing her words, spreading her thoughts. With every paper I wrote and every person I talked too about Ayn Rand or atlas shrugged, which everyone left me explaining a little back story because they had never heard of either, an understanding began to grow. For one, I understood that our society has no idea Rand or her work even exists, but that tends to be the problem with great philosophers especially now-a-days. I also understood that to me reading Rand is as important as voting or signing up for the draft. It gave me a poltical and philosophical foundation to which I reflect, recite, and reimagine daily. Anyways Rand lover....Go 20th century motors!
