    Excellent. No need to explain further. You (and other rational Objectivist posters) can save the rest of us a lot of needless wading through illogical tripe, by doing the same thing. And as I understand the system, we can always choose to "unhide" the comment if we're curious (or feeling masochistic that day). +10

      I do not intend to be mean, but on serious posts, we should focus on the Objectivist principles in order to learn. There's not been enough of that lately in here. time for a little tough love. on non-serious posts of mine, which there are quite a few, I'll be lenient. I will also try not to post things that are religious. but dang it! I'm too nice

        No, I would not expect you to be mean. But in a serious discussion, and especially the lengthy ones, as poster it's well within your rights (after all, you originated the post, it's your property) to screen out the irrational, trolls etc. Not a damn thing wrong with that.

        As for focusing on serious posts and Objectivist principles and there not being enough of that lately, I agree. That will soon change. While I will be doing a lot of writing this summer, my shrug job is not the priority for a few months. It is time for the summer month (or full summer) in Atlantis that all Gulchers looked forward to in AS.
