For those who are not aware, there is currently a huge cultural battle being waged in the Sci-Fi Literature world between the leftists and SJW(social justice warriors). and ...everyone else. The good guys are winning! To get you up to speed, Liberty Island Publishing's own Declan Finn (John Konecsni) sums up the history of the battle.
From the article:
"In short: in a battle between the establishment leftists and the "outsiders" of many stripes, the leftists lost. The culture wars are winnable. A little sarcasm, a little reason, and the war is over. The left is nothing but a pile of steaming, impotent rage. The more they lose, the more twisted up they become. The more they lose, the more they lash out and alienate everyone around them."

    Thanks for posting this.

I knew something went down at the Hugos but I didn't know the details.

    First GamerGate, then Sad Puppies.

I can only imagine what the Calgary Expo backlash will bring.

Still trying to find a good article about it.
But what from what I could gather -

A SciFi Expo was recently held in Calgary.

Some GamerGaters rented a table and were selling GG gear (GamerGate, not Galt'sGulch).
Once it was discovered who they were and what they were selling, they were ejected.

A second group of GamerGaters, women calling themselves the "Honey Badger Brigade" (HBB), attended radfem presentations and had the temerity to ask questions.
For this, they were also ejected and had the police called on them.

Twitter has been flooded with images of the CalgaryExpo logo Nazified because of these two events.

I'm sure Milo Yainnapolos of Breitbart will have something on it soon.

This could be part of why more people hear about Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy w/ its leftwing bias than Thomas Cronin's Mars trilogy w/ its libertarian bias.

The first book in Cronin's is titled "As It Is on Mars". If you type that in on Amazon, you get KSR's books but not Cronin's!
