I am not sure that putting something that is half glucose and half fructose on a wound is going to promote healing - both of those sugars delay healing. The fact that it seals the wound against dirt might compensate somewhat.

I have a tip on walking with bees.
A lot of them buzz around my mailbox due to a lot of bushes flowering there right now.
With an open hand, you can gently push a flying bee out of your way and the bee won't get mad.
A young lady who grew up on a farm with a bee hive by her home's front porch taught me that.
There is no need to swat at valuable pollen-spreading honey-producing bee.

Good to know. I wonder if it works for paper wasps as well.

Up to a tricky point. I had a wasp problem last year. Hate those suckers.
If they are guarding a nest at a late stage of their offspring's development, they will go crazy and banzai anyone or anything near it.
        Those stings really hurt.
So I just kill them any chance I get, especially around the house.
I have two cans of wasp spray ready now.

The paper wasps like but build nests inside the door jam on the vehicles. I opened the door on one of the fire water tenders and didn't see the nest on the underside until it was painfully to late. Of course they fared far worse in the end than I did.

I'm 68 but still remembering when I was a kid who climbed to the top of a swing set and stuck my fingers into the inside corner of a supporting A-frame.
Was it 3 or 4 stings that I received all at once before I felt my back slam into the ground?
I saw many sprayed wasps drop from five nest last summer.
My son at a barbershop said he overheard someone complaining about wasps when I told him about it.
I live in one of several "satellite cities" about Birmingham in Bama.

some things seemed a little contradictory. On one hand, it is said to calm you, make you sleepy-then it said to use as an energy booster. I think the most interesting is wound maintenance. Just got some mango honey. It is very dark (they say that is from the mesquite) but the bees have hives in my friend's mango grove. He pulled this honey after the mango trees had finished flowering :)

Mango honey sounds wonderful. Let us know how it tastes.

I picked up some little tubes of honey with Echinacea and a few other things mixed in. Not the tastiest, but it's supposed to be a huge immune system booster.
