I have been accused of taking the Austrian School of Economics out of context. Rather than range all over the topic, I will address one Austrian economist, Friedrich Hayek, primarily with respect to his epistemology. However, his sense of ethics follows directly from his epistemology so this will be discussed. As well, his metaphysics will be touched on.

This is why I am here. The opportunity to be challenged and enlightened. This was hard for me as Road to Serfdom was one of the first books that I read that started me down a conservative political approach, and every time I was forming a rebuttal and justification in my mind you answered before the comment was solidified. This will take more readings, but thank you so much for sharing your insight. Very sound reasoning.

Thanks. It is not enough for someone to say they are pro-free market or a capitalist, think Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh. We cannot win by starting with false premises.
