I was happy to land in the Gulch in 1980 when I escaped from Corporate America but was saddened to find that the "Gulch" I was in was not the real one. It has been a long, arduous escape with many hardships but in the longrun is well worth the effort. I don't regret any of it.
For the person who is looking for poppy's to replace the back pain meds I would suggest angel trumpets but with dire caution. There are many other plant options beside the opioids.
