According to Gallup Obamas job approval is at 50%. I find this hard to believe. Is it a function of people not paying attention? The media? Poor polling?

Its amazing that anyone can approve of this man. You have your hard core liberals, people wanting free stuff, illegals and circus guy and you are at 50% How can the Jews still support Obama. With all they have gone through last century you would think they would leave Obama in droves. It defies rational and logical thinking.

I was reading an article about WWII a few weeks ago and noted that in 1933 there were Jews who voted for Hitler. In fact the polling at the then new Dauchau concentration camp north of Munich showed that 100% of the inhabitants voted for Hitler. People today are so disconnected that they simply vote on likeability. Obama's smile and stupid Obamacare video makes people think he is one of them. Same with his NCAA brackets. We take a different view and understand that the view of the President has worldwide implications and there is a certain standard of respect the President should have. We also must remember that a growing number of people are now in the "me" generation and that the world revolves around them. As a result many are simply uniformed and base their decisions on the most recent soundbite.

It would be interesting to ask the citizens of other countries polled. Say Israel, Germany, France etc. That might give us an idea of the truth of what is being reported by the talking heads. Natch, most citizens, like the U S of A, would have no idea about what they are talking about.

You are correct. An interesting fact is that when I have gone overseas and watched television, I get a totally different view of the US that watching things on our TV at home. Television overseas has programming that shows things we never see. I am always reminded how programmed we are here. Many times I am embarrassed at how stupid we are here in the US.

I know this is not the right topic to bring this up but I have been waiting for the right topic for a while..

Am I the only one here that believes that O is assisting in the Islamic caliphate???

Since he took office he has supported the rebels toppling the stable countries in the middle east. He has even gone so far as to arm these rebels even though they say they are ISIS sympathizers!!!
There are only a couple stable states he has not gotten to yet.

He craps on Israel constantly. He keeps releasing GITO high value prisoners with or without Congressional approval with the goal to release them all before 2016.

Both his fathers were Muslim, his mentor is Muslim, his grandparents were communists, he spent years in Muslim schools, AND worst of all; in his book "Dreams from my father" he said (paraphrased) "I will stand with the Muslims if the winds blow in that direction".

Am I just paranoid or does this all make sense to any one else???

Does it matter? Sock Puppet or Shyster Puppet the only reasons I can see for an approval rating is either he never quit running nor started doing the job or he's running and the two term limit like all else is being ignored or it should be called a legacy rating or he's running for the next highest office. The only possible value would be to a two party system of government so it really doesn't matter since that doesn't exist anymore UNLESS you count the disenfranchised who believe in the Constitution. I don't think they have moved the Center Sign Post back to that document yet but a Constitutional Centrist Party sounds appealing.

Absent that it's still Democrats left wing of the left and Republicans right wing of the left. Both clearly in favor of Government Party control of citizens.

    I choose Answer F

I've found three. One is considering what they say or said and what they do or did.

Second is one is socialist corporatist and one is socialist statist two of socialisms three branches.

Third applies only to combat soldiers and those closely supporting them (geographically)

Ratio of US Service personnel killed since WWII in all forms of armed conflict declared or not is 18 to one. Eighteen if started by a Democrat and one if started by a Republican in the White House.

The last of interest only to those in the combat arms.

As far as O is concerned wasn't he first elected promising to pull the troops out and something about over the horizon or whatever?

Bush repeatedly stated it would take as long as it took and it wouldn't be a short conflict. Still the score up until the Iraq pull out goes to Bush and the remainder, the new war goes to Obeyme

Unlike Vietnam. Same war..score goes to LBJ especially since the reason given (Tonkin Gulf Incident) was false.

As I recall there were upwards of ten reasons given for the Iraq invasion. One of them was incorrect. But unlike Kosovo there were massive incidents of genocide one of the other reasons given.

Goes to show some politicians rag heads are more equal than other politicians rag heads.

As I said, only of interest to combat soldiers. For the rest refer to the first three.

It is all about the questions and how they are asked, and who they are asked from.

    For example.
Regarding President Obama, do you consider him to be a Great president.

    1) Totally Great
    2) One of the best
    3) Good
    4) Very Good
    5) Somewhat good
    6) Tolerable
    7) Could do better
    8) Very Very Bad.

Now When you total that set of questions, the odds are that he would get a better than 50% approval rating.

This is why I do not pay any attention at all to the "statistics" unless I know the EXACT set of question used, and "WHO" are answering them.

Well, they sure didnt poll ME. I think he is the worst president I have ever seen. Arrogant, petulant, and a brat. It took Putin to put him in his place, which he did very artfully.

I never thought I would have more respect for a Russian President than our own.

Its embarrassing actually that our once great country presents the likes of an Obama to the world, only to be made the fool he is by a Russian president, not once but several times. Putin is no prize either, but at least he sticks up for Russia.

once again the only answer is "re-elect no one!" we need term limits, come to washington and do what you said yo'd do to be elected and go home. no pension no lifelong health care nothing go back to work like the rest of us. plus we take a couple of old hotels in washington and they can stay there when in town. until we get away from the life long strangulation by politicians who never worked or paid a payroll it will continue to stink. they re all the same, they stink.

I would at the very least like to see the benefits scaled back. Put all politicos into Social Security and get rid of their pension system. Enroll all of the into ObamaCare. Reduce their staffs by 50%. Just a start and I would eventually like to end up with your plan fully implemented.
