I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch... Having heard about Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead over 25 years ago, I have finally read both books (well almost through The Fountainhead). It is amazing and frightening how prophetic Ayn Rand was.

Welcome, Robin. I first read Atlas 45 years ago and have spent those years shocked by how prophetic she was and longing for the world of Galt's Gulch. I hope you find the Gulch as interesting as I have.

Hi, Robin! Welcome!
You're definitely right about how prophectic Rand was - but if you think about it, only certain consequences CAN proceed from certain actions. She could just see the parts more clearly than most.
