Over the years, you occasionally hear a story that defies common sense and exemplifies a government gone wild, abusing and exceeding its power while destroying the lives of everyday Americans. Well, that is the way it used to be anyway. Now it seems there is an avalanche of stories with a frequency that causes most to become insensitive, numb to the constant drone. In this book, Senator Paul, pulls together many of the most egregious cases of unfair abuse to citizens from government bureaucrats and agencies that apparently wish to make examples of people and demonstrate their arbitrary unfettered power. The oppression, abuse and abject tyranny perpetrated by multiple agencies over the years brought to your attention, will enrage all but the most progressive, statist, totalitarians among us. With each story compiled and documented in this work of violations of citizen’s rights your outrage grows. It is plain for all to see how an ever growing big government creates ever growing opportunities for unchecked bureaucratic tyranny. It allows them to demonstrate the old maxim that “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” And that is exactly the way these agencies operate. There is no accountability. The bureaucrats make and enforce laws absent right, checks or balance.
From the EPA treatment of the Sackett’s, to the TSA’s numerous violations (including events pertaining to detaining the Senator himself) as well as many other accounts of federal agencies running roughshod over the constitutional rights of innocent Americans, the Senator fills the pages with recent stories that every liberty loving American will find appalling. The examples in this book, though just a small sample, are irrefutable arguments proving the tyrannical nature of our bloated big government. It is also clear evidence that our federal agencies are in the business of violating the constitution for political, ideological advantage.

Since this book was written we’ve learned of an IRS scandal, where patriot groups, et al. were targeted for political ideology and experienced a disastrous health care plan rollout sold on promises the bureaucrats have nullified by writing de facto law, as well as a host of other abuses! So many additional scandalous abuses have recently been revealed to the public one must wonder the magnitude of what has not been revealed. Senator Paul could easily write a new chapter; perhaps a new volume…

It's not just the school administrators....it's the whole public school system....they all go along with it to preserve their pensions. I wonder often how many lines they'll cross before a light bulb goes off and reality hits them in the face.

The more they take our freedoms and the fact that political correction embodies our lives the closer to socialism or communism we come and the more we it becomes a part of our lives.
This isn't something that has just happened. It started with President Wilson and has grown ever since. We're noticing it now because it's running rampant with this President.
