Unfortunately I suffer from altogether too many fools, many of which have power over me.

  It would seem that today the fools outnumber the sensible by huge margins. Common sense is all too uncommon and reason is practically non-existent. This site is generally a beautiful exception.

        Unfortunately, U.S. Presidents and their agendas have rarely been a reflection of the people but that of a shadow of power. The political winds simply direct the angle of encroachment.

  Property rights must start with self and grow from there. I can see no other way for rights or liberty to exist. Many will make a claim upon your person, your time or property. It is all the same .. a form of servitude.

I'm not sure which are worse, the fools or the naïve? Most fools cannot help being so, while the naïve are such by choice (or lack of choice to educate themselves).

  I would like to think there is a difference. A fool chooses counter to reason, while the naive choose according to ignorance. I still hold out hope that the ignorant can be educated.
