A book from Mike Rothmiller, a member of the Arizona Authors Association, my writers organization, entitled The Making of Adolph Hitler: The Child. The Man. The Monster, presents recently declassified OSS psychoanalysis documents contains some absolutely chilling quotes. What most disturbing is that Hitlers words can clear be seen in our gOvernment tOday.It's like holding up a mirror.

My stylist was telling me yesterday that she and her daughter took her 7 year old grandson to the singalong Sound of Music production, and he was asking about the Nazi's. They tried to explain while singing along. I recommended she read Ominous Parallels.
Too bad that they haven't learned from his failures and the awful costs to the German people.

Hitler is accusing the Jews the Vienna press of this strategy. It is often taken as evidence that Hitler advocated the “Big Lie.” He is, in fact, accusing his enemies of lying.

I have provided corrected translations of the few quotes which are hacks of what was said in Mein Kampf and show how much are misquotes and misleads. If that isn't evidence enough for a proper holding of my statement then you are simply a madman incapable of anything.

Easiest way to deal with conspiracy theories is to read all sides:
1) FIRST the primary sources; not the conspiracy sites, not the debunking sites;
2) SECOND AND AFTER, read the debunking sites by searching:

3) THIRD AND LAST, read the conspiracy sites (YES, DO read them, read all sides).
Try not to laugh too much.

George Seldes' The Great Quotations. The source cited by Seldes is an item in The Nation by the popular American journalist and author John Gunther (1901-1970).
In fact, this is a version of a remark attributed to Hitler by Hermann Rauschning, whose imaginative work is a source of many phony "quotes." Another fraudulent Hitler remark in this same spirit and from this same source, likewise cited by the supposedly authoritative Seldes, is this: "Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism ever invented for its own destruction."

The blatant Nazi hero-worshiping aside, the suggestion here is that Hitler was all for open education. And he was. But only with regard to the people who were entitled to it. The quote reads as quite genuine, fully consistent with Hitler's world-view. Arguments that it is somehow contrived ring hollow, to say the least.
If one reads the quote in full context, it is clear that Hitler is speaking of what he calls the "Herren-class," the lesser peoples of those regions he is intent on conquering. His point is that Marxism is wholly wrong in its idea of a classless society, that there are and must be classes. Always. And while education is a good thing, access to it must be limited, based on class. As he says just after the above quote (my boldface):
There must be only one possible education for each class, for each subdivision of a class. Complete freedom of choice in education is the privilege of the elite and of those whom they have specially admitted. The whole of science must be subject to continual control and selection. I've seen the sources for your claim that is fraudulent, which they claim without any evidence to debunk the quote's authenticity other than a claim it misrepresents Hitler's views, when in truth, based on his writings, it does not even do that.
