I know Alex Jones goes over the top sometimes, but this is adding up to the truth to me. What say you?

I used to watch NFL games every weekend and on Monday nights. I had season tickets for the Raiders in LA for several years. When the NFL decided to stop using instant replay to fix bad calls I quit watching. Their excuse about it slowing the game was total BS, since they wasted the fans time constantly for idiotic talking heads and endless commercials about other hideous programming. This was really clear to me when I was waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for play to resume while attending games. A couple years ago while in NZ I watched a game with a Brit friend and timed the action with a stop watch. In a 3 hour broadcast there were 17 minutes of actual play. The rest was commercials and idiots like Costas spouting idiotic opinions and sometimes propaganda.
There isn't enough entertainment in an NFL game to satisfy a moron.
That's probably why Oprahman wants to be a part of it.

I agree LS, Alex speaks the truth. If people paid half as much attention to what is going on in this country as they do to sports we would not be losing freedom by the day.

College football is more fun to watch, anyhow. The NFL has grown too big and too powerful and needs to be taken down a few pegs. Money drives it and lack of money can change it once they realize that they are offending most people who are fans.

Of course it is a propaganda tool. So are the Olympics and every other "sports" spectacle which features national flags and anthems. Modern versions of the Roman Circus.

Folks, get a life. Football like all the other professional sports is a business of entertainment. Either enjoy it or stop watching it. Your choice.

"Pro" sports are really part of show business -- and like the rest of it, they're run by the left. Naturally, they don't dare to offend their sponsors or their audience (in that order). So you can never expect them to take a stand on any issue when it might hurt their bottom line.

I believe we'd have gladiator games on TV if there were enough people willing to pay to watch them.

professional athletes like all entertainers believe since they make lots of money it gives them a right to voice their opinion since they are widely known to the public therefore they can say as they please and it should be listened too. unfortunately they are currently products of the school system that has created a dumb population.
