This woman is like the blacks i have known my whole life, going back to the 40s. Hard working, concerned about her job and home. Not a whiner nor a thug. I want to know how many of the looters were not even from Ferguson. They should have shut down the town to both media and outsiders until it was calm. The media is the drawing card for this rioting, fueled by a careless president and self-serving so-call ministers from outside. They have done an injustice to the people of Ferguson and should be charged with inciting a riot.

Good post. I am not a racist but after listening to Eric Withholder along with Obama since 2008 and now this stuff watching Brown's Stepdad and Ferguson in general, I may want to reconsider my view. Sadly it is cases like this that grow racism in America. Brown was a thug. He was a thief who did not respect authority or the law. In that sense these people are all Michael Browns.

Of the countless media coverages, none that I'm aware of focused on the personal responsibility of Michael Brown for his own actions. I asked my Ethics class to pretend they were Michael Brown looking back and honestly apprising the decisions he made that day. Not one - black, brown or white - though he had done the right thing. In fact, all found fault in many things he dead. Swisher Sweets? one asked. Those are to make blunts. Another commented: he should have stayed home and made beats or read a book. Instead, he did what he did. He of course i s not his mom and certainly not his step-dad. I'd be interested in Michael Brown's honest view of his own actions, with no one to answer to but himself... which of course is reality at the end of the day.

The interviewee is not exceptional. I would bet a $500 Monopoly bill that the majority of the citizens in the area think the same as her. I believe that the motives of many of the demonstrators have nothing to do with the shooting incident, but to further left agendas. The rest are looters, or cry babies.
