California's High-Speed Rail on Track to Open in 80 Years
talk about milking the system..I'm bet 80 years from now it will be delayed a decade or more (because thats when they will actually doing the work),

- 1Posted by Dhagan 9 years, 5 months agoI'm a California resident myself, and I wont likely see the completion of this project... if it even happens. Projects of this type are some of the most financially dangerous of our time, it essentially gives government a blank check to add whatever it wants to its budget. If we're lucky, this will turn out like the subway system in Cincinnati and it will stop when the cash flow runs dry. But knowing California and all the pressure from private interest to see this one through.. it will likely bankrupt us instead.| Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink
