Does treating Ebola patients make the doctors/nurses crazy?

In recent days we have seen reports on 2 health "professionals" returning from Africa after treating Ebola patients. Ebola nurse Kaci Hickox returned and refused to be quarrantined saying,“You know, I don’t plan on sticking to the guidelines.” and "I remain appalled by these home quarantine policies that have been forced upon me." See:

Dr. Craig Spencer returned from treating Ebola patients in Africa and reportedly lied to police about maintaining quanantine, telling the truth of his carousing all over NYC sharing cabs and using the subway only after being pressed for details. See:

It appears that these supposed medical professionals have little regard for the responsibility they have to the rest of the human race in the United States.
Should we trust anyone who has been to Africa and treated Ebola patients to think rationally? Did they ever have any ability to think rationally or has their experience in Africa driven them to insanity?

Can we trust anyone in this country to apply a little common sense. The only ones to have been affected and infected by ebola are those that actually came in contact with body fluids, specifically blood and urine--not from riding a subway, or sharing a bowling ball or even from being within sneezing or hugging distance.
If the public is not trusted with the truth, how can they/we decide the appropriate action? They can't, and are inclined to follow orders out of fear of the unknown.
Do the doctors mentioned have more accurate information, or are they acting inappropriately and irrationally?
The internet is available to them. If they want to be believed then they should use it and publicize the scientific reasons for their actions, since apparently the authorities will not.
Personally, I don’t think the public should even know anything about this nurse in Maine. She treated Ebloa. So what? Is she sick? No...
You know what this is? This is a giant diversion squirrel to keep people from being concerned with Obama, Holder or Reid, or any of the rest of the progressive stinkbugs just days before an election.
People need to focus.
Voting is a waste of time. Nothing changes without real action outside the political process.
I predict that R's win both houses and they barely amend Oprahmacare and claim the president/dems were just too strong to do anything more. Bankster puppets and traitors to their oaths. In fact the only oaths that they care about is calling other pols chickens#it (and that is definitely a BS distraction.)
