As a former (to use Andrew Breitbart's words) "default democrat", I've concluded that the first step required for any adult to open their eyes is to reject all social pressure and start taking the obligation to think for themselves seriously.

The first time I saw this I was surprised they did this while Obama was still in office. I also don't think they understand why liberalism failed them. It's encouraging that they are finally questioning the motives of progressives.
