    stoopid. stoopid, stoopid, stoopid.
When other passengers started to get involved, de-escalate, stoopid.
When there is no good reason not to do something, and you get to look like a good guy if you do it, do it, stoopid.
    grrrrr.

Why should the military get better treatment than others? Everyone deserves respect unless their actions prove otherwise.
I didn't see what happened, but unless she was insulting to the passenger, she was doing what her employer trained her to do. Based on eye witness reports she could she have handled the situation better. OTOH, this could have been blown out of proportion by the idiotic media seeking attention and distraction.
Lack of courtesy is an epidemic in the US and likely to get worse as the economy deteriorates.

I believe that military members should get that extra bit of respect. They end up going t places at the whim of idiotic politicians and dying for them. And by corollary, they die for us. Even though it may be viewed as "just another job" it is also very dangerous, and you voluntarily give up your personal freedom. It is the same respect for a uniform that you give to the flag. I agree that the news media is as trustworthy as a politician, and they all slant and spin a story to where it may just have a passing resemblance to truth, so it is always hard to tell, but the behavior described is typical of what you see today when people let their politics and personal opinions drive their customer service. Remember the discussion on the baker and the gay couples cake?
