The government taxes our money and business income annually. Why is it legal to take more taxes? And inefficient use of it makes it that much more insulting. They didn't make that.

The death tax is just wrong. A number of farms have been lost as a result because of the reasons stated in the article. Families can't afford 40% of what the farm is worth. Unfortunately the progressives have succeeded in framing the argument as "making the rich pay their fair share."

  I just posted something that relates to what you just wrote about the farms. It's true. The family farms that have been around for decades, are getting out on the auction block.
  
  And farming is such a wealth producing industry.... I think the deposits from all the farm animals should be trucked into DC and dumped in front of the Capitol building.

    Unfortunately they can't afford the tax attorneys to help them navigate this. With the tax code changing all the time it's an ongoing process.

  They can't afford the debt service on loans created from nothing to enrich bankers and enslave the farmers either. Both are problems that must be fixed.

Did they account for the reduction of employment for all those productive accountants, lawyers, and estate planning consultants?

Joking. I favor elimination of income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and all government functions and taxes not explicitly stated in the US Constitution and 1st 10 amendments.

  Agreed. They are robbing people blind, to redistribute the earned income to the bloated federal agencies and all those sucking off of the teats of plenty. They dry up eventually. Then the cow has to go to the butcher...
