Which has a more solid foundation, religion or human-influenced global warming?
There are "believers" on both sides.
Both want to legislate to others.
Which should get more stroke...or none for either?

    Depending on the religion I'd have to give it the nod here. There isn't really evidence that I've seen which shows religion to be unlikely (historical accounts notwithstanding), but there is plenty to show the current CAGW hypothesis to be false.

    Religion involves *believing* in truths. Science involves *accepting* data and being open and eager for new data that changes everything.

    Religion and science themselves don't want to legislate, but people appeal to them in making policy arguments. Science is a process of hypothesizing and finding models that predict experiments. It doesn't want anything.
