I agree with the effectiveness of hunting, and the yumminess of venison. But the effective wildlife birth control methods do not involve tubal ligation!!! There are oral contraceptives that have been tested in various places in the US and Europe (Europe first, if I recall correctly) that reduce births by about half.

    Tubal ligations??? Get real!

    (or get venison roasts)

I live and work in an area with a lot of deer. It has been interesting to see how many people move to this area and say how they are anti-hunting and they love wildlife. After the deer eat their landscaping a couple of times they tend to change their minds. It creates a danger on the road as well.

Anti hunting... or any animal killing... as if meat just falls off the meat tree.. aka just so long as they can pretend an animal didn't die for their meal. I hate these people.

I think it's worth a try to improve the program, esp if we reach a point where not enough people want to hunt and they develop more humane sources of meat.

Enough people will always want to hunt, unless the government interferes by imposing laws that are nothing more than interference with individual liberty.
You think its important? You pay for it yourself. Send Cornell a donation.

Cornell gets over $400 million in taxpayer funding annually. That funding should be stopped immediately. Let them waste their own money instead of the taxpayer's.
