What's up with all the ads appearing in the Gulch? It is getting really annoying.

    Maybe they are bots, Ben_C.
    The site was built using Google tools and it doesn't screen out postings from anyone that signs up to join. I'm sure that some bots are able to do that.
    One way to stop them would be to have the webmaster verify all new signups and screen their posts, but I doubt there is a budget for that.

    Are you coming in through a VPN? I don't see ads for some reason, although I wouldn't mind some because I don't contribute money to this site. Have you tried a different browser? I'm using Chrome with no ad blocker turned on. I don't know why I don't see ads.
